The short film encapsulates the essence of Bengal in about three minutes - from Kolkata streets to Sunderbans, from Bengali cuisine to Durga Puja. Add a little bit of Shah Rukh Khan towards the end, and the romanticising of the state, replete with its natural and cultural glory, is complete.

Yes, there is turmoil, and yes, it does affect the day-to-day business of people inhabiting it, but that is only a small part of a huge picture. At the end of the day, all that anyone wants is peace. So, though the visit to this part of India may have left the narrator feeling sad and dejected, but the hope that love will one day conquer all lives in his heart, as it does in the heart of Kashmiris.

This travel blog, hosted by Aisha Ahmed and Ayush Mehra, takes the viewer on a road trip into the heart of South India. The visuals are stunning, the colour palette being used most judiciously and skilfully. The three-parter series might inspire you as well to hit the road. However, beyond the visuals, there is not much the script has to offer structurally. Watch it for the colours, the vast expanse of open spaces and a voyeuristic fulfilment of the desire to be on a trip.
