If you're just beginning to explore the digital filmmaking space, this festival is for you. Primarily aimed at debutant film-makers, by its own admission, the Filmfare Short Film Festival simply requires you to make a film of no longer than 20 minutes and send it to them.It would then be judged by a jury that has included the likes of Karan Johar, Kabir Khan, Vidya Balan, Ravi Udayawar, Urmila Matondkar, Nikhil Advani and Niranjan Iyengar in the past.
There are five categories for submissions. If your film makes the cut, you will be awarded the all-too-familiar Filmfare black lady at the annual, star-studded award ceremony. The submissions for the 2019 entry are currently open.
