With the magical vocals of Prateek Kuhad, the song becomes a very poignant take on romance which is fierce, passionate and sometimes, heartbreaking. Following in the footsteps of many artists before him, a recent example being that of Ed Sheeran, Kuhad also makes a cameo in the video. With the depiction of the cyclical nature of relationships, Cold/Mess makes the viewer conclude that though love can be overwhelming, suffocating and bitter, it's also tangy and sweet and something worth a try, much like a lemon tart.

The visuals in this music video translate beautifully into a narrative about the life of a serial procrastinator. The viewer finds the protagonist resorting to cloning to get all his pending tasks done. Suddenly, the to-do list begins to get shorter and shorter, as an armada of Jim Sarbh clones populate the screen to see every task to its completion. While the video is shot most gracefully, the editing deserves a special mention for keeping it even more seamless. The final product is effervescent, colourful and funny.

Uncut footage of one Prateek Kuhad video has made it to another about a year after the first one came out. Using extra shots from Cold Mess, starring Jim Sarbh and Zoya Hussain, the video of Into the Night takes the viewer once again into the intimate corners of a relationship. As the couple navigates around the various moments of loneliness, isolation, laughter and some good old kissing, Kuhad's gentle singing supplement the video to make it a well-rounded product. The vibe as well as the general atmosphere created by the vocals and the visuals are similar to Cold Mess and thus serve as an extra treat for the admirers of the original song.

No, the short film didn't forget Nakul and Sahdev - struggling fashion designers who want to keep their homosexuality hidden from their mother, because after all, they ARE mama's boys. Mama's Boys is marked by the brand of humour that exploits hypersexualisation to invoke laughter. Also, the film would have benefited greatly by a more well-rounded and less abrupt ending.
