The music video is a heartwarming take on popular culture and how it manages to pervade all sections of the Indian society. However, behind the beauty of music and a bunch of lovely children finding their superheroes within themselves, is a dark and unfortunate reality which this video successfuly manages to address with sophisticated cinematography and a skiled Indo-fusion soundtrack.

The music video attempts to critique people's inability to receive criticism. They might realise the value of the criticism sooner or later, but never associate any value with the person or source it came from. Chitman adopts a unique idea to convey these intentions by using a superhero figure who goes around distributing chits to people with a personality flaw written on it. By its own admission, the filmmakers have drawn inspiration from the stylistic influences of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton to explore their concerns. While a Chitman may be the need of the hour, but is the world ready for him?

When the everyday, lived reality of a regular village in Rajasthan becomes too overwhelming, young Kaaliyaa takes refuge in his reveries. After having heard the stories of a caped superhero from a fellow-villager, who colours his tales with all kinds of hues and shades of city-life, our protagonist finds himself in the heart of a daydream about his own cape and mask. The film is endearing and honest in its attempts to shares its story with the audience, to whom it provides an equally likeable character, along with noteworthy visuals. While our protagonist might struggle to register dull facts about an era gone by, will he truly find a safe refuge in the stories of Kaaliyaa Man?

With an important message at its core, the film is a sweet story about the hopes and dreams of a child who wants to be a superhero and save lives. It all started for him with a Spiderman mask that his mother got as a toy. Since then, from playing with action figures to watching his favourite superhero on screen to dressing up like him, all his waking hours are spent daydreaming about being Spiderman. The film is primarily a single-member-crew effort and should be appreciated thus. It also has a relevant social message for the viewer about the absolute need to follow all health guidelines against the coronavirus pandemic and save lives themselves. The two children that the narrative employs to convey this, are adorable and allow the story to put its message across for the audience.
