This short film invokes the idea of single parenting and the difficulties it entails for a mother raising her daughter all by herself. Released as part of Myntra's Bold is Beautiful campaign, Single Parenting, My Choice portrays the judgement and discrimination a young woman undergoes after moving to a new residential society.
While the prying neighbours continue to make nudging suggestions about her married life, even women themselves come across as enforcing this bias against single mothers. The short film draws attention to the many struggles of being a parent and a woman, and the manner they increase manifold if you choose to step out of normative societal structures.
