The short narrative wants to predominantly use the same fixed frame to tell a story that spans over two decades. It starts in the year 2002 with a little girl dancing to herself. However, soon an adult voice tells her to attend to tasks that are expected of her instead; in this instance it is preparing a speech.

Over the years, as the girl grows up into a woman, there is a portrayal of the same act repeated over and over again in different circumstances. From hanging out with her friends to going on a movie date to pursuing the career of her choice to finally moving to a different city for a job she has worked long and hard for, the protagonist is denied all of it.

It is through the turn of events that follow, and the manner in which they alter the course of her life, as well as her personality, that the film endeavors a conversation on what freedom truly means for women in this country.
