Dice Media's latest offering Brochara is primarily the story of four boys. As they navigate around their relationships, careers, friendships and life in general - the viewer is made to expect a funny and dramatic journey. Starring Dhruv Sehgal of Little Things fame, the show attempts to give a glimpse into male friendships and how they overcome various obstacles in their lives.

Rarely in life does one meet someone and almost instinctively find them to be a space of comfort and love, their presence to be like balmy warmth on a long winter night, perhaps something like a pixie, as suggests the narrative. Samar and Sana's paths cross due to a common friend at a dinner party where amidst conversation and twinkling, soft lights, they fall for each other. <br><br> Despite their deep love, they push each other away and take on different paths. As life carries on with its course, and tugs them in different directions, they keep in touch through letters. While relationships and marriages with other people continue, this particular bond remains unbroken. However, after years of separation and distance, will they eventually find a way back to each other or keep on living as two halves of a whole? The question is meant to be intrinsic to the plot, as it attempts to rope in symbolism, metaphors, music and lyricism in its portrayal.

The coronavirus lockdown ensured that we were pushed into finding innovative ways to express ourselves creatively. The film is one such example where the entirety of the story unfolds within a single-take conversation between two friends over a video call. The actors display ease and chemistry to further enhance it. <br><br> During this lighthearted exchange, the discussion also touches upon several more serious aspects of this pandemic-stricken reality and mentions things like a burnout, professional and financial trouble, as well as the cold feet of a soon-to-be-bride only a week before her wedding. All of these elements are tied within the banter in a humorous fashion, to present to the viewer a fun, entertaining interaction of two friends.
