Color of Scars

By Barun Sinha with 5.8

drama · Short Films · hindi

The short narrative uses colors as a metaphor for life and its myriad emotions and stages. There is further the attempt to speak of gender, internalized patriarchy of women who often end up pulling each other down, as well as innocence of childhood.

As a woman sits before a canvas, painting her emotions on it, the entirety of the conversation is invoked. Alongside it is also a little girl who too tries her hand at painting, thereby making clear the intentions of the dialogue conjured so far.
