Despite the disturbing thought the film invokes in its title, taking one’s life by suicide, the narrative is marked by uplifting humor and hope. The entirety of the plot is a movement towards the realization of the same. 
A man is trying to end his life, but a little girl keeps coming in his path. She takes him down the road of some unexpected misadventures that amuse the viewer, even if at the cost of the protagonist’s misery. Their exchanges continue, following the format and approach of a silent film, employing the visual flow steadily, coupled with a fitting background score. 
At the heart of the film is an important message that is presented to the viewer with earnestness and lucidity, while also displaying a screenplay defined by ease, along with a complementary edit.

Soon, the story comes to be marked by their shared playfulness, affection and emotional intimacy. However, will its conclusion also be defined by the same positive, uplifting sentiment? As the plot develops, the title becomes an attempted play on Rohit's mute reality, as well as the course the love story is going to take. The most notable aspect of the film remains the performances, and the dedication to bring to life a scene of heartache and loss.

The brief narrative simply offers a single moment, establishing a situation that will be explored and developed in subsequent parts. In the current part, we are presented with the protagonist working late into the night, while also on the phone with his beloved. A tone of disagreement predominates their conversation and they soon hang up. It is at this point that strange occurrences begin to take place in his house. Jump scares are coupled with figures in the shadows to present this reality to you. With nowhere to turn to, what will be the fate of the protagonist in this strange, scary house?

The film is a smooth tying together of remarkable writing and humour to present to the viewer a comedic account of a cricket match played by the most unlikely players. The entirety of this story is marked by a hilarious narration that keeps the viewer in splits throughout the length of the film. It further captures an authentic experience of a small town, and the several eccentric, unexpected, strange and perhaps even endearing characters it has to offer to the viewer. Despite its many strengths, sound remains a weak aspect of the film which holds it back from being all that it could have been. The near-absolute absence of background music comes across as jarring, initially. However, soon the viewer gets used to it, and maybe even forgets about it during the many humorous and bizarre moments marked by untimely phone calls by lovers, family members, or crucial moments during which the concerned player is off the field, and all the developments that come to constitute Cricket Yudh. Overall, the film remains a zealous product, leaving the door open for more such work by the filmmaker.

The short film tells the story of one afternoon and the conversation that unfolds between two people during it. They discuss their favourite TV shows, day-to-day troubles and general approach to life. It progresses to engage with several aspects of their lives, more for the woman than the man. However, an unexpected turn awaits at the end of the conversation. Though it might come as a shock to the protagonist, would it be just as shocking for the viewer as well? The film uses a story which is not entirely unique and lacks energy that would have helped it reach its goal. Though in need of some polishing, especially in terms of performance, it is a sincere, dedicated effort and manages to translate the same sentiment to the screen for its audience.
