‘Awaara Hoon’ opens on the sweet note of a school boy’s love story. Marked by stolen glances and shy gestures, the narrative introduces us further to his sighs and longing smiles. Soon, the passage of time takes over, and we are thrust forth a couple of years into the future where the school boy, now a lone traveler, meets his love interest after many years. Once again the window of opportunity is missed, and the same pattern is followed. 

It is in the final scenario when the most defining event of the narrative takes place, finally spelling the fate of the characters. The visuals remain a notable aspect of the final result, ensuring that the song is allowed a fitting representation specifically by way of the camerawork.

Unfortunately, things did not turn out as the lovers would have hoped for, and now all that has been left in the wake of the relationship is pain and hurt. However, before the song closes, there is indeed one last development awaiting within the conclusion.

The music video presents to you the story of a couple very happily in love. It brings in visuals of open, outdoor spaces to take us into the experiences of the two lovers. This is paired with the vocals that celebrate the same love as well as the joy of finally having found your perfect partner. However, as the narrative progresses, tragedy, heartbreak and loss await within the folds of the story. The final result is a dedicated endeavor to talk about an affectionate relationship and the most unexpected and fateful circumstances that come to mould and influence it.

The music video opens with a visual of the endless expanse of the sea and its adjacent beach. Soon we go closer into this world and are introduced to its main concern - the story of a couple, and their limitless love much like the sea. In the process, the question that arises is that a union of two disparate elements like water and sand truly attainable? The vocals continue to get tied with the development of this love story which explores endearment, intimacy and the possibility of its eventual fulfilment. However right at the conclusion awaits something unexpected for the viewer. How will this progression of events then affect the fate of the lovers?

Closed Eyes - Kahaan Tum Kho Gayee | Short Film Nominee

Our first introduction to the world of The Unknown is a flirtatious exchange between a man and a woman. It soon leads to an invite and the woman finds herself making her way to the man’s house. Things seem to be going alright until she begins to notice strange things in the shadows. While on the phone, she chooses to hang up immediately instead of sharing the sense of eeriness that seems to have consumed her. 
Events continue to develop until a very sinister event is reached. The final result wants to tell a story of darkness being afoot, but it loses crucial points in the department of sound, along with a missing fragility that is required to handle an engagement with sensuality. Future projects could perhaps address the same and once again present their intentions to the viewer.

The Unknown | Short Film Nominee

The film begins on a harmless note, one that leaves the viewer unprepared for the disturbing events that soon begin to unfold. A pregnant woman and her husband are on a highway when they stumble across a strange woman. This is followed by more strange developments marked by an eeriness and suddenness that makes the viewer sit up and pay attention. While the story starts several threads, it keeps them untied, positing itself as only a single part of a larger plot which could justify the uncertainty the audience is left with. Additionally, the male lead addresses his wife as both Aradhana and Amrita at two different points, making the already fast-paced narrative slightly confusing for the viewer. However, the film is marked by its sudden moments of thrill and shock, and leaves the door open for a promising sequel.
