Lori (Lullaby) is a quiet and sincere portrayal of life as it came to be during the coronavirus lockdown and quarantine. It achieves the same by taking us into the experiences of a couple. 

Soon after their shift to a new city, the wife finds herself dealing with pregnancy, cooking and other chores, and simply a life without her doctor husband in a locked down world. This, in turn, invokes a reality of emotional isolation, along with very practical, everyday obstacles. The narrative further employs poetry to present a message of hope irrespective of how bleak things may seem at the horizon or how different today might seem from yesterday. 

Additionally, the film maintains its calm tone throughout, and yet, the progression of events comes to be marked by several emotions. They range from annoyance and anger to despair and heartache, until all of them eventually get triumphed by hope, a sense of community and the warmth and solace of loved ones.

Combining a sense of entrapment with the protagonist's house, the very place which had once stood for shelter and security, the short film puts forth a seamless narrative. Devoid of any dialogue, it further uses a background score which is fitting enough to fill any space that might have been left behind by the silence. Because of the effortless weaving together of the sound and the visuals, Cage manages to convey its sentiment and intention successfully and impactfully. While stray animals roam around freely on empty streets, humans are confined to their homes, behind walls which seem to be closing in a little bit more with every passing day. The protagonist can do no more than watch from behind his window bars as the mundaneness of a daily routine continues to overpower his life.

The music video tells the story of a woman who is just stepping out of matrimony. As a first in a long time, she begins to explore life on her own terms. Both the singing and the visual treatment pursue a poetic tone in aiming to bring the thought to life. 

The final result of the musical narrative, though marked by a little rawness, is soulful, accompanied by an intrinsic tenderness. The same remains evident in all of the symbolism it employs. Be it the image of boats waiting at the shore to sail away, a couple of birds as one flies away or simply an urban night where a woman drives alone with only the city lights as her companion, the imagery remains consistent.
