Two little boys, Arif and Aman, both wearing kurtas of symbolic colors, saffron and green, meet to fly a kite on a terrace. During their playing, however, they realize that an egg is about to fall off a ledge. Thus begins the endeavor to save it by joining their forces in the most innocently heartwarming ways, presenting a message of unity, two identities working as one, the idea that would be echoed throughout the film prominently.
These endearing visuals are coupled with a reality that is far from it - an offensive between two extremist groups that hunt each other down. As foes come face to face, ideas of friendship, harmony, and brotherhood, tied with a thread of poetry, are portrayed for the audience, while condemning mindless violence in the name of politics of religion.
