The film aims to remind the viewer of the fragility of life, and yet, despite all warnings, we refuse to take better care of it. The story is of a single night and two young men, primarily. They are awaiting a third friend to come and take them to a party.
On the face of it, it is a fairly regular night of mundane, inane events, yet a dark twist awaits this narrative. The friends exchange banter, while the opening scene of the film, which seems to have no relation to these characters, looms close above the viewer's head all this while. Eventually, as the events tie up together, the film communicates what it had set out to do at the start. The structuring of the story is non-linear, and when it finally concludes, the present holds a jarring reality for the viewer.
