Rohan, an affluent corporate employee, is surprised by a sudden visit from his childhood friend, Diljit Singh, who bears him a special, concealed gift. However, instead of using this opportunity to reminisce old memories and having a good laugh, Rohan rambles on about his success and wealth. <br><br>
He chooses to mock Diljit by criticizing his preferred beverage – tea, makes unappreciative, shrewd comments about his family business and then proudly boasts about his lavish house and furniture. Embarrassed and humiliated, Diljit politely leaves Rohan’s place without mentioning the initial reason for the visit - the gift. This precise element is later revealed to be an important part of the narrative which will leave both the characters as well as the viewer with an important lesson in humility and modesty.

The short film brings in ideas of wealth, materialism, worldly possessions, along with satisfaction, contentment and peace. It opens on a note which might lead one to believe that it might be a sentimental narrative on poverty or old age. On the contrary, it develops in a fairly opposite direction, as it makes its intentions and ideas significantly clear for the viewer. <br><br> A homeless old man, who has no money or any other belongings, lives across the street from the house of a significantly financially strong man. One day, after the latter notices the former sleeping on the footpath, he gives him a substantial amount of money. However, after this development, events come to take an unexpected form, driving the narrative's message home further in the process. Additionally, the title of the story has already made it amply clear that all the drama would come to unfold along the same road, and yet, a contrast would be achieved by the plot of the film.
