Rohan, an affluent corporate employee, is surprised by a sudden visit from his childhood friend, Diljit Singh, who bears him a special, concealed gift. However, instead of using this opportunity to reminisce old memories and having a good laugh, Rohan rambles on about his success and wealth. <br><br>
He chooses to mock Diljit by criticizing his preferred beverage – tea, makes unappreciative, shrewd comments about his family business and then proudly boasts about his lavish house and furniture. Embarrassed and humiliated, Diljit politely leaves Rohan’s place without mentioning the initial reason for the visit - the gift. This precise element is later revealed to be an important part of the narrative which will leave both the characters as well as the viewer with an important lesson in humility and modesty.
