This short film gives us a glimpse into the life of a character we all may have encountered at some point. He is patriotic, but does this patriotism extend beyond social media? Is it simply confined to a desire to be self-righteous and judge others? One Day Mataram, in no indirect terms, draws the viewer's attention to the irony of someone who makes loud proclamations of his love for the country on social media, but in his personal life, the truth is far from it. Will this film offend the viewer or make them realise the hypocrisy and double standards of many around them (or perhaps themselves)? That's anyone's guess.

Or does he survive at all to begin with? 3 Shades is a glimpse of answers to those questions, as vague as they might be. A young boy, sincere to his duties, sells flags on Republic Day. Though the duty is performed successfully and sincerely, there are some realities of life which can't be navigated using the same qualities. Is it the cruelty or the indifference of adults towards a helpless child which is worse? Perhaps that's a question the short film leaves with the audience to answer for itself.

By giving a confused terrorist as its protagonist, Faqr Hai talks about India as a nation to be loved, despite all its weakness and disadvantages. A terrorist, who is supposed to carry out an attack on the country, is left alone to research and educate himself about its history. Little does he know that an interesting development awaits him on the other side. Anil Mange, the comedic, clueless terrorist finally manages to reach a decision about his opinion on India. However, will it alter the course of the attack? The film does give in to sentimentalism towards the end, as is not uncommon of several films on the topic, but remains a light-hearted, well-intentioned product to be watched when the immediate reality of the nation disillusions you.
