The film is a heartfelt glimpse into the struggles of two characters, Yadhu and Sruthi, a young couple that has moved away from home to build their life in the big city. 
Facing opposition from both their families regarding their marriage, they have now come to a place where in a bid to simply survive, they hold on to demanding, hectic jobs. 
The daily routine ensures that the two barely even meet each other in the house, spending their time only within the emptiness of the four walls. In the middle of the tedium of daily mundaneness and demands, however, also lies the memory of a past, one that ensures that their present is filled with love, even if in the form of longing. The various household tasks and items remain nestled in the identity of a lover and a beloved surrounded by yearning. 
The film calls itself an adaptation of the Bengali film ‘Asha Jaoar Majhe’ (Labour of Love), and endeavors a storytelling marked by mellowness of voice and tonality, brought to life with skilled visual grammar and notably strong performances.

He & She | Spotlight

The visual narrative of this poetic, musical film is constituted by several stages of emotions and experiences of a young woman, imagined as a love letter written to an unnamed, unknown character. From dressing up to seeking happiness, from the joy of being in one's finery to the pitfalls of separation, longing and grim events, the plot engages with them all. The visuals are set against a gentle, soulful song in a seamless manner, allowing the story to invoke in the viewer a deep poignance. Along with notable structuring, camerawork, voiceover and an overall elegant flow of events, the film is also marked by a skilled performance of the young protagonist.

Yours Sincerely | Short Film Nominee

The short narrative attempts a quiet conversation with longing for one's loved ones, and the duties and obligations that get in the way of ending this yearning. Nestled between these two, however, lie several other elements - from finding companionship in animals, to peace and calm in the silence of the night, the narrative's intention remains to explore all of them. The same is endeavored to be engaged with by introducing us to six guards who pull the night-duty at a university. The end result, though not without its rough edges, is well-meaning, exhibiting potential of the young team when it comes to storytelling and choice of thematic concerns.

Ye Ratein | Short Film Nominee

Visuals of vast expanses of green, streams and ponds, evidencing an overarching presence of nature, take us into the world of Little Old. The protagonist is located against what seems to be his favorite physical spaces where he makes the most of all that they have to offer. From playing with goats to running across ponds, he enjoys them all. All of these visuals are tied with a voiceover that attempts to engage with the ideas of hopes and dreams. However, soon the mood changes to bring in a very different set of emotions. It is in tying together both sides of the emotional spectrum that the narrative endeavors its final result to be shared with the viewer.

Little Old | Short Film Nominee

The short narrative, marked by a complete absence of dialogue, is a sweet love story of Isolabella and Lennan. However this in no way means that it is devoid of its obstacles, longing, separation and the possibility of heartbreak. Lennan is deeply smitten by the artist who runs her art studio across the street from him. Despite all his best efforts to communicate notions of hope and freedom to her through his paintings, a distance remains between them, while a sense of overpowering gloom hovers over Isolabella. At the end of it all, when both Lenna and Isolabella have spent long hours in communicating their thoughts to each other by way of their paintings, will their paths eventually find a common place of overlap?
