Only after a brief introduction to Stranger in the City, it becomes evident that the narrative has adopted a personal tone of intimacy in its treatment. This approach remains consistent throughout as the drama unfolding before you is interspersed with the protagonist's inner musing.
Suhas has come to a new city to head a training programme. His corporate job requires him to travel frequently, a prospect that is quite welcome by travel aficionados. It was also the reason many years ago when Suhas, an aspiring travel blogger, had taken it up in the first place. However now he finds himself feeling jaded, and most important of all, unable to write any subsequent blog posts when he visits a new city.
The rest of the plot further endeavors a poetic tonality in the portrayal of its intentions, while also conjuring a sense of hope for the viewer. It is only in the department of sound that the film loses some points, but simply a wrinkle that can be easily smoothened in future projects.
