A young boy wakes up to find himself faced with an unusual reality. His familiar surroundings lead to unease, and what would have otherwise been inane noises, now startle him. Gripped by apprehension and curiosity, he steps out of his room to get to the bottom of it. Soon, he is left bewildered by a stranger waving at him.
Ignoring it all, when he comes back to his room once again, another disconcerting development awaits him. He finds himself posing with people in selfies he has no idea of. Unable to figure out who the strangers in his pictures are, the protagonist's confusion and agitation coincides with the climax of the film. However, just when the viewer might think it's all over, another cyclical aspect of the plot just lurks around the corner to catch them unprepared.
