A man is riding a two-wheeler late into the night when the most unexpected set of developments begin to unfold before him. In the middle of nowhere, as if a stark, pale dot in the darkness, a man stands dressed in only a hospital robe. He asks for lift from our unsuspecting protagonist, who though wary and a little disturbed, agrees to help. The film then employs a little bit of jump scares, a little bit of the play of light in the dark, to bring to life its intentions. As the events continue to develop, will our protagonist truly see the end of this journey and reach his destination unscathed?

A woman wakes up with a start. She’s been having nightmares, and when she wakes up to be comforted by her partner, she still sees a strange man inside her house. The next morning is better, she is once again
lovingly woken up by her boyfriend, but the day still has more eeriness in store for her. The film deliberately creates a narrative marked by several elements that only serve to add to the viewer's bemusement. Additionally, the predominance of red is perhaps also employed to invoke discomfort, mystery and suspense. However, when morning arrives, what unexpected development awaits both her and the audience?

Shheetghum | Short Film Nominee

The film opens with a scene of a late night and a man sitting by himself looking outside the window into the darkness. Soon an unexpected visitor arrives at his doorstep, asking to be allowed in. The latter is locked outside of his house without a key and is extremely hungry. He might fall sick if he fails to procure food soon. The man, albeit reluctantly, allows him in his house and offers tea and biscuit, and thus begins a dark narrative. As the man tries to figure out the truth of the person he is hosting, what would be his eventual fate?

Chai Biscuit | Short Film Nominee

While driving one night, a man finds another man drunk and passed out on the road. As the story begins to unfold, it reveals that the protagonist is facing professional difficulties. The idea of an uncertain future has also soured his relationship with his father. While being noble-intentioned, the film runs the danger of falling into the trap of whataboutery by showing the protagonist how better off he is in comparison to another less fortunate than him. However, for the viewer, the plot concludes with with an attempted sense of hope and the desire to never give up.

Stranger | Short Film Nominee

A young boy wakes up to find himself faced with an unusual reality. His familiar surroundings lead to unease, and what would have otherwise been inane noises, now startle him. Gripped by apprehension and curiosity, he steps out of his room to get to the bottom of it. Soon, he is left bewildered by a stranger waving at him. Ignoring it all, when he comes back to his room once again, another disconcerting development awaits him. He finds himself posing with people in selfies he has no idea of. Unable to figure out who the strangers in his pictures are, the protagonist's confusion and agitation coincides with the climax of the film. However, just when the viewer might think it's all over, another cyclical aspect of the plot just lurks around the corner to catch them unprepared.
