Poshaak

The film presents to us the struggles of Sunita who works as a domestic help in the house of another woman. While both of them have their own individual battles both at work, as well as in life otherwise by the virtue of being women, the latter still has that one extra layer of privilege that protects her from the financial tribulations that the pandemic threw people's way. Along with portraying this, however, there is also the attempt to draw a parallel between how neither gets to have a say in what they truly want to pursue in their lives, with their family members prevailing over their desires.

Further, the title is allowed an echo within the desire that is closest to Sunita’s heart, and how it eventually becomes a metaphor for the life she wants to lead. Even if the film shows the want of firmer hold on its sound, the storytelling still exhibits potential.
