A child's voice takes you into the world of the film - marked not by the innocence of childhood, but by loss, tragedy and hardship. Through the questions that the young voice raises, we are further introduced to the heartache of the protagonist who lost his father in the most unexpected and painful ways.
The narrative is located in the Kashmir valley without ever explicitly stating it. It aims to, thus, present the viewer with the effects of geopolitical conflict on innocent, unsuspecting populations who become collateral damage, and are thus left to pick up the pieces left behind by violence and trauma.
