The film opens with a beautiful woman concluding a work call on her laptop. It immediately reminds the viewer of our reality of the last one year constituted by video calls with colleagues, and all official affairs being run from inside the confines of our homes. However, amidst it all, there is also a much darker development within the domestic space that the lockdown ushered into our lives. As the woman freshens up at the end of a long day, the disturbing bruising on her face is revealed to the viewer.
The film thus communicates its primary message about the fate of innumerable women across the country who counted days to the end of the lockdown. Unfortunately, when they were met with constant extensions of the quarantine instead, the prospect was far from welcome. The narrative becomes an endeavor in introducing the same sense of despair and helplessness to its audience.
