Lovusion uses visual imagery and symbolism to present an account of love and coping with the loss of it. The protagonist, distraught and anxious following a deeply traumatic incident, is unable to grapple with the aftermath. He has, instead, taken refuge in projecting his deep-felt emotions on a blooming, red rose.
He believes the rose to be an embodiment, a living and conscious form, of his recently deceased partner and thus, vows to preserve and protect it. Even though this experience is extremely remorseful and painful, he chooses to stay with it, for the love he once shared and experienced, underlines the narrative.
