At the heart of the film is a message about hope. The story is located in our locked-down world following the Covid-19 pandemic when a man has lost his job. Unable to secure any other job, he finds himself drowning in despair and the overwhelming pressure to simply survive.
It is at this juncture when he has a conversation over a phone call with his friend, one that comes to alter the entire course of the night for him. The film is well-intentioned and wants to remind the viewer of the importance of not giving up, irrespective of how bleak things may seem, especially during and after a year like 2020.
