By way of humor, and a sense of the absurd, the film presents a notable effort in exploring questions of existentialism, life and an inherent pursuit of meaning within it. We are presented with a bizarre situation and reality where three characters have signed up on an app, inviting a hitman to murder them.
The hitman, on his path of seeking acquaintanceship, has allowed two of these men to live a little longer than their scheduled time of death. Soon, a third character, a woman called Sparrow, fighting her own individual demons, joins the unlikely party. The writing and the core idea propelling the narrative exhibit potential, definitely worthy of deeper, longer exploration in future projects.
