The film aims an interaction with addiction to technology, a concern especially relevant in contemporary times where we become more and more inseparable with our smartphones every day. It achieves the same by taking the viewer into the life of a character who finds himself spending all his waking hours playing a violent game on his phone.
However, soon the images begin to spill over into his day-to-day life as well, making regular experiences like sleeping an insurmountable task. Using a non-linear narrative, this is contrasted against the significance of outdoors, the same ones which had earlier been overlooked and ignored by the protagonist.
