Inspired by true events, Var Vadhu, a socio-political drama, shares how certain sections of our society strongly condemn pre-marital relationships or displays of affection in public spaces. Further, it talks about how often they choose violence against those who act out of their free will. The short film follows one such young couple who gets caught up in political propaganda and oppression without any true fault of their own. <br><br>
The film hopes to remind its audience that love in itself is the purest form of emotion and requires no superficial religious bond to affirm it. It even showcases how bullying in the name of God or jingoism is often a cover for satisfaction of darker, ulterior motives.
