The film wants to portray the life and times of an average Indian household, but by only using their footwear. The characters, thus, become different pairs of shoes which are coupled with dialogues that are delivered for the audience by several voices. Each of these pair is further used to suggest the imprint their footsteps leave behind long after the person who wore them has passed over to the next stage of existence. Whether this imprint lasts forever or is quickly erased by the sands of time, that is the question that forms the core on which the narrative models itself. As for the answer, it lies within the story itself for the viewer who stays with it till the end.

Aniruddh is a workaholic. He has lofty ambitions, big plans and wants to reach the top quickly.
While others in his office get by working five days so they sleep and booze on the remaining two, the protagonist's life is far from that. He takes no holidays - when he’s not in office, he is working at home. This bothers his
ageing mother who feels neglected, alone and worried for him. Preeti, a girl in Aniruddh’s office, is fond of
him and has also confessed her affection for him. However, he avoids her for there are several goals to be achieved
before he settles down. He gets the promotion, but on the same day he returns home to find his
mother passed out on the floor. The ride from his house to the hospital, with his sick mother in the
backseat, makes Aniruddh deeply introspect his priorities and the direction he wants his
life to take. Would it lead him to make concrete changes after all?

Prathikshe | Short Film Nominee

Suhas is overborne by the pressures of personal and professional life. Separated from his partner, he struggles with performance at his workplace and is unable to pay rent or send money back home to his parents. The rest of the narrative thus becomes an exploration of the protagonist's despair as well as his attempts to stay afloat. 
The short film presents the analogy that life is a journey, but one which is not always a comfortable, breezy one. Sometimes, it's also a difficult, noisy drive through traffic, crowded with unexpected turns and dead ends. However, it further suggests that one should approach these momentary cul-de-sacs with positivity as no one knows what lies next. The film talks about mental distress and related stressors of the modern era, tied together with a message of hope.
