A man is preparing weapons before stepping out of his house. He seems to be heading out on an endeavor which involves violence. As he climbs a flight of stairs, stealthily watching his prey from the window, an important realization strikes him, making him retrace his steps back to his house. It is in this manner that the short film presents its message to the viewer, one about observing all health and safety guidelines during the pandemic, especially at the place of your work, for your safety as well as that of others.

The story takes the viewer into the misadventures of Bratin, a man who finds it difficult to be with the woman he likes from a distance, or perform at his job in his workplace. His rival ends up taking the credit for his idea, as he also successfully woos his love interest, while the protagonist is left by himself to toil for long hours in his office. The narrative moves swiftly from one setting to another, also trying to invoke emotions of isolation and sadness as Bratin is turned into a laughing stock by his colleagues. At the end of his rope, he then turns to astrology, and mysterious potions and tablets provided by a godwoman of sorts called Mata Madonna. Bossikoron endeavours to invoke humour by placing its characters in unlikely and absurd situations. The narrative is marked by a few rough edges which can be more evenly rounded off in future projects by the team. As for Bratin, who is faced with an overbearing mother, rivalry of a competitive colleague, rejection in love, how or will he eventually find the path that leads to his desired life?

The film develops as a narrative of suspense, thrill and dark secrets waiting to get unearthed any moment. It is the story of one night when a thunderous storm has disrupted a woman's plans, leading her to take shelter in the house of an unsuspecting neighbour. Suspicious things are afoot from the word go, and matters finally come to a head as darkness, both metaphorical and literal, engulfs the film. The plot and writing of Bhuyo exhibit notable potential, as does the dedication of the filmmaker and their team to tell the story. The film, however, could have gained from a smoothness in visuals and edit.
