Chataiwala

Two men of the same village run into each other on a beach in Mumbai. In a city which is hustling with activity and people, what are the odds of that? Yet they meet, both with a secret of their own. They've come a long way from the home they left behind, and both reach an understanding of not revealing each other's secret.

The short film encapsulates in its narrative the stories of so many who leave their past lives behind to start a new one, often being pushed into secrecy. However, this does not mean there's no hope and satisfaction to be found here. Maybe this, after all is said and done, is the only place where they could have been found and achieved.
