The short film is a story of love, loss and a promise of union in a corner of Punjab. It further deals with honour killing and the violence people give in to in the name of respect for their family name.
The film moves back and forth between the past and the present to share its story of a young couple who falls in love, but only to the deep anger of the girl's family. As they run away from their town to start life afresh, have they truly left their troubles behind? Also, how do three more characters, a man, his wife and their daughter, come to fit into all of this? The film raises these questions as well as provides their answers for the viewer.
