It's hard to condense everything that can be said about this short film within a few lines. Either way, here's an attempt. <br><br> First the highs - the film is well intentioned, has decent acting and writing, and attempts a conversation on several aspects of mental health - from bullying to suicide. On paper, these are all the ingredients that are required for a good film, yet, it falls short in its execution and ends with a sense of predictability. Though the visuals and framing deserve full points for the effort and experimentation, they still fail to secure sophistication and seamlessness.

The short film is about the experiences of a young man quarantined following the national lockdown. These are expressed visually by representing his thoughts and desires metaphorically. The narrative further attempts comedic releases as well as exhibits potential in terms of editing. However, as he grapples with his thoughts, what would he finally choose?

The story employs a poetic narration to talk of several aspects that have become an inherent part of contemporary reality. While the human race as a collective struggles with their new normal, a world devoid of physical contact and any sense of a community it could have provided us earlier, there is perhaps a silver lining to be found in all of this. <br><br> The short film draws attention to the significantly improved health of the environment and nature. It further reminds the viewer to not lose heart just yet, for perhaps night is the darkest right before dawn, won't you agree?
