The writing and poetry of the narrative exhibit potential, as does the brief performance presented to the viewer in this short film. The plot is premised on the struggle of its protagonist to let his thoughts as well as creativity run free in a world which has already put several binds on them. As he struggles to find freedom for his ideas by way of a pen, would he succeed at his attempts?

As the title of the film suggests, the entirety of the narrative comes to focus around a window through which the protagonist finds an unexpected source of friendship. Consequently, Khidhki turns out to be a story of finding warmth in a manner that conquers loneliness even when it seems to have become the only reality of a fast-paced lifestyle.

Smile is a film from the perspective of a plant who is removed from the ‘family of his birth’ and adopted
by a human. Through the voice of a child, the plant narrates his tale. At first, we hear of his separation
anxieties. He misses his plant friends, and wonders what the birds must be up to. He is irritated by his
new roommate and his habits, but slowly, we see them forming a friendship. His roommate draws
an emoji on his pot and names him Smile. Our protagonist's wonder now turns to the daily tasks of his
roommate. He keenly follows his actions, is affected by them, and even eavesdrops on his phone calls. <br><br>
The lockdown is soon ending, and we learn that Smile’s roommate will be moving back to his own city.
