Chintu Sharma is a relentless film aficionado. As soon as school is over, he darts out to catch the latest film at the local theater. However, 'Phillum' does not immediately introduce us to its protagonist and this reality. 

Instead, first there is the establishment of a small school, perhaps even suggesting a movement back in time. The film presents a sincere endeavor in capturing the ethos of not only a village, but also of an endearing, enthusiastic young protagonist. 

As for Chintu, he is not only a viewer, but also a storyteller, even performer, as he regales his peers with stories of the films he has watched. The end result ties all of these elements together to leave the viewer with a narrative that aims to be wholesome and uplifting.

A man finds himself in the isolation of a vast expanse of nature, reflective of his mental space as well. He has lost faith in the world and divinity and now finds himself completely lost. However, his path soon crosses with an unexpected companion who alters his approach to life. 
As the narrative explores a journey between a mentor and his pupil, the music video comes into existence. It is defined by notable vocals and a dedicated cast and crew that bring all of these aspects to life. The ideas the song celebrates and shares are one of unity and the oneness of God, no matter the name we choose to address him with. While all these thoughts are explored, the protagonist’s endeavor to find a new path continues and gets portrayed in the narrative.
