With windows as its primary metaphor, the film presents a story of a life lived, the memories that constitute it, and the many ways one can forge intimacy with the world around them. In addition to this, nature and trees remain a prominent image throughout. <br><br> An old man, during the dusk of his life, finds companionship and joy in the trees and plants outside his window. 

One of these trees has been his constant companion for twenty-five years. However, when life reaches a stage when he may have to bid farewell to this circumstance, the story takes a somber turn. <br><br>
Through the portrayal of all of these events, the film covers an entire spectrum of emotions - from joy, and happiness, to loss and heartbreak. It also provides a glimpse into familial dynamics and what it means to achieve intimacy not necessarily with humans but with things and objects that stand as prominent markers of what it once was, and the fondness that lingers even today.
