The documentary film is an attempt to engage with Bodinayakanur, a village in Tamil Nadu, and its trade of cardamom. Also known as the 'city of cardamom', the small area comes to be the subject matter of the narrative that takes the viewer into the intricacies of the trade. <br><br> From the farmers and the daily labourers who work in its growth and harvesting, to the buyers and external traders involved in the business, the narrative wants to engage with its various components. It also interacts with the many obstacles of the business and commerce that has come to get tied with the lived reality of the local people. Overall, the film is an endeavour that shows promise which can be developed and delivered further in future projects by the director.

A young duo of interior designers are invited over by an older couple for planning the re-decoration of their home. 
The older couple offers common Indian courtesy with coffee and coconut biscuits upon their arrival. The conversation between them sails smoothly as they inquire the visitors about family background, profession, mode of transportation and so on. However, as they settle down to talk business, things start getting heated up. The interior designers feel misled as the  older couple had failed to reveal the many cracks and defaults that the house has, whereas, the owners believe that they shouldn't change their charges after making a commitment. <br><br>
Amongst the quarrel, issues regarding discrimination  such as unfair pay of the lower working group, and offering stale food to domestic help come into play. Using a discussion of all of these concerns, the movie aims to emphasize the larger roles and responsibilities of each and every member of society.
