‘Persistence’ is a first-person narrative about a man’s relationship with the city of dreams, Mumbai, but also with his own passion, dreams and the many obstacles that a life of practicality quietly strews in his way. The storytelling remains steadfast in its approach and progression throughout, exhibiting honesty and dedication to its ideas. <br><br> It would be interesting to see a more layered tonality in the expression of the same ideas in a future project which, in turn, would allow it to turn more stones in terms of storytelling. In its current form, however, the film remains a sincere endeavor.
