The story of the film is pushed forth by three simultaneous narratives of three men - a beggar, a wealthy man amidst a chaotic legal situation and an ambitious man who dreams of accumulating his own wealth one day. Along with introducing us to their stories, the film also gives us a glimpse of their approach to life, especially vis-a-vis money and material belongings. 

The tool that is specifically used for the same is alcohol. By portraying the relationship of the characters with it, the film presents its primary message for the viewer to engage with. While life may have dealt each one of them a vastly different hand, their perspective towards their own individual circumstance, along with the overlap that exists between the three lives without them consciously realizing it, communicates the film's intentions in a manner that is clear and direct.

Household chores continue to be a form of unpaid labour which is overly glorified without truly acknowledging women's efforts that go into it. The short film interacts with the same idea through the experiences of two men who perform some of these chores when quarantined at home following the coronavirus lockdown.

Eye Opener | Lockdown Film Challenge

The core intention of the film is to question superstition and how it comes to thwart the progress of rational, logical thought. It adopts a humorous approach to convey the same to the viewer. The scene is of a morning when a man is blessing his new car. A neighbor passing by, however, has different plans up his sleeve, and thus, an interesting exchange soon unfolds between them. The narrative is marked by its verve and cheeriness, but could have benefited from a closer attention to a seamlessness of the edit.

smallest details to avoid doing a chore. This means that you would quarrel over the literal and
suggestive meanings of the words your mother actually uttered to determine whose turn it was to do
the grocery run this time. However, it also means that, like all siblings, beneath all your quarrels lies affection,
and the film doesn’t forget to draw that out as well.
