The documentary film chooses a subject that gives the able-bodied audience a glimpse into the life of a deaf and mute man, while an element of relatability for those viewers who might be living with a disability themselves. The narration and the manner in which this story is shared is simple and direct. It introduces us to a farmer, with a passion for photography, but who now supports his family by taking care of their land.
We are further introduced to his familial dynamics - one constituted by his love and devotion for his mother. The film is also loud and clear in reminding the viewer that a disability does not diminish the value of a person's existence or make it any less valid. Therefore it is of absolute importance to not only talk of the sizeable amount of the global as well as national population which falls within the demographic, but to also not reduce their stories to emotional crudity often marked by pity, asserts the narrative.
