An overworked employee is on his way back home after a long day of work. Little does he realize that across the platform from where he stands, the most wonderful surprise awaits him. In front of him stands his office crush, a girl he has never had the courage to interact with properly. As a sweet love story unfolds simply by way of actions, and no words shared between them, the two actors present an endearing exchange, marked by dedication to their characters. 
The narrative remains marked by romance and humor, keeping the viewer engaged. At the heart of this seemingly inane love story also rests an important social message, one that is pronounced in the title of the film. The final result presents a zealous and competent endeavor in combining the two, the romance and the message, and sharing it with the viewer.

It is late into the night when a sudden doorbell shocks Jeet, a mental health professional, out of his pre-bedtime calm. At his doorstep stands a very hassled Arjun, one of his patients, who has unexpectedly arrived at the house claiming to be suffering from side effects of a prescribed medication. 
Hesitant at first, Jeet lets him in, and a conversation follows. In the course of the subsequent narrative, the film exhibits deep potential, as well as sincerity in weaving a plot and story. The writing and development of the same show the dedication of its cast and crew to bring it to life. 
There is further the endeavor to experiment and stylize its edit and camerawork, albeit within the limited means within which the final result functions. It is in terms of the overall production quality, especially pertaining to sound, where some wrinkles remain to be ironed out. Nevertheless, the film in its current form leaves the door open for similar storytelling endeavors yet to come.

I Think I've Killed Someone | Short Film Nominee

Ronak and Ruhi run into each other most unexpectedly at a train platform. While they joke about Ronak being only a manifestation of Ruhi's thoughts, and not truly part of corporeal reality, Ruhi mentions her flight two days later multiple times. Soon the conversation takes a more somber turn, and the narrative begins its exploration of heartache, things left unsaid, and the many ways they find an articulation in the exchange that follows. 
While expressing the same emotions, an important character trajectory is achieved, leading to even more crucial realizations. Though the film loses some points when it comes to sound, its writing and the actors' chemistry help to keep it on the right track, echoing its title that subverts expectations in the same way the protagonist’s expectations had been subverted by the chance encounter.
