connotation of the phrase, ‘’You are next” is only scary and ominous in the context of the Covid-19 virus
whose unpredictability is its most menacing trait. That it can hit you, even when you feel like you’ve
secured all corners. <br><br>
The film simply depicts the fear one feels when you’re alone in the house, and a door suddenly
opens unprovoked. This is a classic horror trope, which is to be appreciated for it never gets old.
