The short film holds potential, but doesn't entirely achieve it. It endeavours to engage with nuances - of human relationships, red-tapism, dysfunctional families and a mother-daughter relationship, among others.
However the attempts come across as half-hearted and incomplete, so much so, that the crux at the climax becomes predictable. While the protagonist offers a strong performance, the same cannot be said about all actors or other aspects of the narrative. In totality, the film falls short of delivering all that it seems to promise at the start.
