The film portrays a single moment of stress, nothing more, and resolves the tension as swiftly as it presented it. The scene is of a hospital where two characters impatiently await something. This impatience is communicated to the viewer by means of their own respective indulgences - nicotine and sugar.
If a man smokes a cigarette, allowing his body to be consumed by the smoke, the little boy accompanying him sucks on a candy. The reason for this desperate wait is not revealed until the very end. And when it finally arrives, it is quick to unfold and conclude. Though made up entirely of stills coupled with some background sounds, the film exhibits aesthetic knowledge and taste, which perhaps can be explored further in future projects.
