The short film opens on what could be assumed to be a colourful, lighthearted note of a child filling colour in a painting. However, the scene soon zooms out to reveal a far more different and gloomy reality. A young boy is making sketches to be able to sell them for the treatment of his ailing mother who lies unconscious in the back of the room.
Thus begins the young protagonist's attempts to sell his art to indifferent people on a beach. As the camera lens goes wider and wider to bring in shots of the sea, the beach and all that surrounds the little boy, there are indeed important lessons to be learnt this afternoon. How will the various elements around him affect the boy who finds himself lonely and desperate to secure financial support for his mother in a world of all kinds of variables and influences?
