thriller · Short Films · hindi

Like a true thriller, the film builds a slow suspense. The narrative takes its time to reveal its cards. This ploy of a game of cards is central to the film’s plot as well. Michael is a rake who has had a dark past. He has been reckless, careless and brash. He is an alcoholic, a drug addict and a gambler - all traits associated with an anti-hero, except that he is the hero of the film.

The anti-hero is a mysterious man who challenges Michael to a game of cards one night at a bar that Michael regularly frequents. The turn of events that unfold as Michael accepts this offer are what comprise the suspense of the film. The commitment of the crew is discernible.
