A man finds himself in the isolation of a vast expanse of nature, reflective of his mental space as well. He has lost faith in the world and divinity and now finds himself completely lost. However, his path soon crosses with an unexpected companion who alters his approach to life. 
As the narrative explores a journey between a mentor and his pupil, the music video comes into existence. It is defined by notable vocals and a dedicated cast and crew that bring all of these aspects to life. The ideas the song celebrates and shares are one of unity and the oneness of God, no matter the name we choose to address him with. While all these thoughts are explored, the protagonist’s endeavor to find a new path continues and gets portrayed in the narrative.

The story of the film is one of hope that follows a moment of absolute despair. The inspiration for the same is further drawn from a real life incident. 

Thiraviyam is a fisherman who languishes under oppressive debt. He is also struggling to put together money for the marriage of his daughter. On the day the viewer meets him, he has lost all hope and is willing to give up his life to put an end to his troubles. However, his faith leads him to a very crucial moment after which nothing would ever be the same again. The aim of the plot is to share an uplifting story, and that is indeed what the film strives for and finally presents to the viewer.

Neerkumizhi | Short Film Nominee

A man is standing at the edge of a cliff, facing a massive waterfall. However, despite this beautiful image of nature, the tone of the narrative is sombre and grim for he seems to have reached the decision of ending his life. Instantly, the film brings in a discussion around suicide to the fore, to be further engaged with as a second character arrives, a woman whose presence immediately makes the protagonist halt in his steps. A conversation ensues which invokes notions of faith, courage, not giving up and somehow finding it within you to keep pushing forward. The plot expands over a period of time and towards its conclusion, comes a full circle on the same physical spot it had opened with. This time the situation seems to be reversed and more things are about to be unraveled both for the protagonist as well as the viewer.

Finished or Not...! | Short Film Nominee

The Covid-19 pandemic led to a migrant crisis of humongous proportions in India in 2020. As millions got stranded away from home, the nation witnessed heartbreaking chaos. The short narrative gives us a glimpse into the reality of one such migrant worker who longs to go home to his family in Jharkhand, but finds himself confined far from them instead in the wake of the national lockdown. Kayum Ansari is a tailor who introduces the viewer to his life, further invoking for them his relationship with religion and the faith he puts in God to help him, and innumerable others like him, to overcome this unforeseen obstacle. The film is marked by its positive intentions to make one reflect, along with a dedication to storytelling, but loses crucial points in the department of sound.

Kayum | Short Film Nominee

The film follows a young, in love couple who meet up discreetly for their dates and outings. One fine night, they are able to convince the girlfriend's parent for a night out under the deceit of her staying over at a friend's place. Their special, happy night is brought chaos by brutal and terrifying goons who abduct them and take them to a secluded construction site where the abductors try to take advantage of the situation. The male protagonist, lying hurt on the ground, trails off to his past, difficult memories, moments in which he had lost all hope. He narrates his dreadful experience in school when he was bullied by fellow classmates or the time he was almost hit by a truck or when his mother was struggling to survive on the hospital bed. He reveals that even after such adverse circumstances, he never lost faith in the higher, superior authority, the one he looked out for and was supported by when all is lost. This, in turn, eventually allows the realization of the title in the plot of the film as well.
