The film is a glimpse into an afternoon when a woman is trying to put her little one to sleep. The boy has all kinds of antics up his sleeve, absolutely refusing to be put into his bed. To engage, distract, and eventually lull him into slumber, the woman begins to sing a child’s rhyme about a sadhu baba who would get him a bag full of toys. This is accompanied by the strangest series of events developing before her as she finds an eerily similar character staring at her from across the balcony opposite her window. 

Things continue to develop, and are attempted to be mingled with a dream-like blur. However, when this flight of fancy ends, what disconcerting events would it have left in its wake? It is precisely this question that the narrative strives to present and explore.

The film aims to create an atmosphere of horror for its viewer. A man wakes up from his sleep to find an unexpected, supernatural being present in his house. All of these occurrences will come to get tied with his sleep, dreams, nightmares and perhaps a more frightful reality than he could have been prepared for.

The Dream | Lockdown Film Challenge

A young boy wakes up to find himself faced with an unusual reality. His familiar surroundings lead to unease, and what would have otherwise been inane noises, now startle him. Gripped by apprehension and curiosity, he steps out of his room to get to the bottom of it. Soon, he is left bewildered by a stranger waving at him. Ignoring it all, when he comes back to his room once again, another disconcerting development awaits him. He finds himself posing with people in selfies he has no idea of. Unable to figure out who the strangers in his pictures are, the protagonist's confusion and agitation coincides with the climax of the film. However, just when the viewer might think it's all over, another cyclical aspect of the plot just lurks around the corner to catch them unprepared.
