The story is about choices, dilemmas and a sense of duty. When Aakash is informed by the doctor that his father has dementia, he finds himself at a crossroads - to either leave his job to take care of him, or to find a way to move out of this situation, even if it takes him on a path far away from his father. <br><br> The film attempts an engagement with the same events and developments, offering a sincere portrayal of the reasons behind the decision Aakash makes. It not only mentions practical problems of a household's finances, but also how they are tackled in the form of freelancing, and by making other compromises. It further attempts a glimpse into the struggles of carers, and concludes with an important message about loving and taking care of parents, family members and fathers in their old age or during their moments of need.

The narrative of the film aspires to engage with several important concerns including mental health, old age, emotional isolation and notions of hope which posses the power to triumph over all of these. The same is portrayed using the story of an old man who lives by himself while his son has moved to Canada. Awaiting his calls and return, he struggles with loneliness, soon finding himself slipping into despair. <br><br> It is then a chance encounter with a stranger, a young boy who has faced his fair share of tribulations as well, that prods the protagonist towards a new path. Once he takes the first step, more positive elements find their way into his life, allowing the narrative and plot to leave the viewer with their well-intended message.
