Subject: Audition Tape

The film follows Meenakshi, an aspiring film actor, as she struggles to prepare the audition tape for a desired role. Despite the requirement of the tape being a simple introduction, she fails to describe herself without stammering or breaking into laughs, and later- cuss words. She repeatedly fixes her makeup and tries to calm herself with breathing exercises. However, nothing helps until she gives in and adopts a demeanor more natural and comfortable to her.

The film talks about how cameras often force individuals to behave in a certain, inauthentic manner. It further attempts to show the consequent journey one might be led to once they begin being true to themselves.
